Theme:
Partnering for Collective Liberation - Intersections of Health, Art and
Political Change

Keynote Speakers:
* Gopal Dayaneni, Organizer and communicator for justice with the Movement
Generation Justice and Ecology Project (and many other groups). Gopal will
discuss strategies for building a people-powered movement to unite us for
transformative change.
* Raquel Gutierrez, Artist, performer and cultural organizer, program
manager in arts community engagement at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
Raquel will discuss building community and the intersection of art and
community organizing.
 
Workshops and Panel Discussions:

The domestic worker movement; popular education; community health promotion;
social media & health; food justice; environmental justice. Presenters will
include representatives from DGH partners in El Salvador, Uganda, Chiapas,
Oaxaca, and Guatemala.

Simultaneous interpretation English­Spanish and Spanish-English will be
provided.

Friday Pre-conference Tour: August 9th, 2-4 PM. 

 'Murals of the Mission': Walking Tour of the Mission neighborhood of San
Francisco led by expert guides from Precita Eyes Muralists Cultural
Center. Bring comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing. 

Tour will meet at Clark Kerr Campus at 1 pm and return at 5 pm. 
Alternatively, participants can meet at the Precita Eyes Cultural Center in
SF. Tour limited to 30 people. Pre-registration fee (including
transportation): $25/person.

Friday Evening Social: August 9th, 6:30-10 PM. 

Join participants for a night of networking, casual dinner, and
entertainment at Subterranean Arthouse, 2179 Bancroft Way, Berkeley,
CA. Donation at the door: $30/person.

Saturday Evening Social: August 10, 7pm

Join participants for dinner, music and silent auction at the Clark Kerr
Campus, 2601 Warring St  Berkeley, CA. Donation at the door $30/person

Registration Deadline:

- All registrations MUST be submitted NO LATER THAN June 25th, 2013 if
housing is desired. Any questions regarding housing after the deadline,

- Daily conference registrations are permitted through the conference
(including walk-ins).

General Assembly Timing: 

Registration begins at 7:30 AM, followed by Formal GA at 8:30 AM Saturday,
August 10th & ends Sunday, the 11th, at 3:30 PM.

Registration:

* We offer a sliding scale payment system, detailed below. By paying a
higher amount, you¹ll help us meet our expenses & share the cost of bringing
our partner community members, international guests and students to Berkeley
*

a. Full registration (Including conference fees, housing/dorm lodging Friday
and Saturday nights, breakfast and lunch Sat & Sun, Saturday Social Event &
dinner. Does NOT include Friday activities):
* Early bird registration: $200 - $400 (double occupancy)
* or $250 - $480 (single occupancy)

* After May 25th: $230 - $400 (double occupancy)
* or $280 - $480 (single occupancy)

b. Day registration - for those who do not require lodging (Including
conference fees, lunch Sat/Sun, Saturday Social Event & dinner. Does NOT
include Friday activities):
* Single day: $60-100;
* Two-days: $90-140.

* Students and Others with Limited Resources:
* Single day: $40-70;
* Two-days: $70-100.
