<B>Keynote Speakers:<BR>
</B></SPAN></FONT><UL><LI><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:14pt'><B>Gopal Dayaneni, </B>Organizer and communicator for justice with the Movement Generation Justice and Ecology Project (and many other groups). Gopal will discuss strategies for building a people-powered movement to unite us for transformative change.
</SPAN></FONT><LI><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:14pt'><B>Raquel Gutierrez, </B>Artist, performer and cultural organizer, program manager in arts community engagement at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Raquel will discuss building community and the intersection of art and community organizing. <BR>

<B>Workshops and Panel Discussions: <BR>
</B><BR>
The domestic worker movement; popular education; community health promotion; social media & health; food justice; environmental justice. Presenters will include representatives from DGH partners in El Salvador, Uganda, Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Guatemala.<BR>
<BR>
<B><I>Simultaneous interpretation English–Spanish and Spanish-English will be provided.<BR>

<B>Friday Pre-conference Tour: </B>August 9th, 2-4 PM. <BR>
<BR>
'Murals of the Mission': Walking Tour of the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco led by expert guides from Precita Eyes Muralists Cultural Center. Bring comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing. <BR>
<BR>
Tour will meet at Clark Kerr Campus at 1 pm and return at 5 pm. Alternatively, participants can meet at the Precita Eyes Cultural Center in SF. Tour limited to 30 people. Pre-registration fee (including transportation): $25/person.<BR>
<BR>
<B>Friday Evening Social: </B>August 9th, 6:30-10 PM. <BR>
<BR>
Join participants for a night of networking, casual dinner, and entertainment at Subterranean Arthouse, 2179 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA. Donation at the door: $30/person.<BR>
