*The first edition of the newsletter of the  Community of Practitioners on
Accountability and Social Action in Health (COPASAH) is out!! In this issue
we have mainly focused on sharing case stories from the three regions
(Africa, Asia and Latin Amercia), articles on exchange visits to two
countries engaged in different forms of community monitoring, recent work
of some organisations, event reports, other announcements and profiles of
organization and steering committee members of COPASAH. The purpose of the
newsletter remains essentially to share experiences, inform and learn from
each other, and also, to focus on different regions and what they bring to
