Do you want to study flexibly and in privacy by distance learning but do not
have the time or funding available for a full MSc?

All of the modules that comprise our distance learning programme can be
studied on an individual basis or as themed groups. A list of the individual
modules available can be found here -
http://www.lshtm.ac.uk/prospectus/short/shortcourseunits_distance.html .

The modules and themed groups of modules enable participants to refresh
their skills or develop new skills, and to keep in touch with the latest
research and knowledge underlying efforts to improve public health
worldwide.

Themes
The three themes available are Epidemiology and Statistics for Health, Key
Infectious Diseases and Health Economics. Suggested combinations of modules
are given within each theme webpage, including some cross-cutting theme
combinations.

Who Should Apply
The modules and themes are suitable for professionals who wish to refresh or
modernise their skills in key areas without taking a full postgraduate
course. These include those working in NGOs, government health departments,
clinicians, researchers, scientists or other professionals who are exposed
to some of the topics covered and wish to learn more. Further information
can be found in each of the theme webpages.

Applications should be submitted electronically to the University of London
International Programmes. Each module has a six character code (for example,
EPM101) and this code should be used on the application form. The online
application form can be found by clicking here -
http://www.londoninternational.ac.uk/how_to_apply/apply_online.shtml.

For more information on the programme, please visit our website -
