 *32,750* persons and organizations from 74 countries have added their voice
to the petition in support of the Optional Protocol to the International
Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.  With this petition we
urge all countries to ensure that access to justice and the right to an
effective remedy become a reality for all victims of human rights violations
by signing the Optional Protocol on September 24, 2009 and ratifying it as
soon as possible.  We thank all of you who signed the petition.  If you have

 We will be sending a letter with the results of this petition to several
countries who have not yet confirmed their commitment to sing this Protocol
on September 24.  To strengthen this action, *we ask organizations to send a
communication to the relevant authorities within your countries supporting
the letter of the NGO Coalition.*  If you are willing to do this, please

pétition de soutien au Protocole facultatif au Pacte international relatif
aux droits économiques, sociaux et culturels. Dans cette pétition nous
appelons les Etats à signer le Protocole facultatif le 24 septembre 2009 et
à le ratifier le plus vite possible afin que deviennent réalité pour toutes
les victimes de violations des droits de l'Homme l'accès à la justice et le
droit à un recours effectif. Nous remercions tous ceux d'entre vous qui ont

Etats qui n'ont pas encore confirmé leur engagement à signer le Protocole le

petición en apoyo al Protocolo Facultativo del Pacto Internacional de
Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales.  Con esta petición pedimos que
todos los países aseguren que el acceso a la justicia y el derecho de un
remedio efectivo sea una realidad para todas las víctimas de violaciones de
derechos humanos, firmando el Protocolo Facultativo el 24 de septiembre de
