PHA-Exch> IPHU Porto Alegre now launched

 Participants from across Latin America and from a wide diversity of
activist involvements are currently meeting in Porto Alegre for the 8th Intl
People's Health University (IPHU) course since the first course in Cuenca in
July 2005.  The Porto Alegre IPHU course runs for 10 days and includes
discussions on health systems policy, environment, social determinants,
working with communities, the right to health, globalisation and trade.   The
54 activists attending bring together a commitment to building the People's
Health Movement, globally, as well as in their own countries.
