The Malaysian Health Coalition against
Privatisation has been insisting in full disclosure of
healthcare proposals but to no avail. The M'sian
government has chosen a consultant to work out the
Health Financing Scheme which is to be funded by UNDP.

Request for a copy of the TOR was denied on the basis
that it is a state secret under the Official Secret
Act 1972.

The Coalition raised the matter with the UNDP Regional
rep. Dr Richard Leete but he has not replied and UNDP
is advertising for a project officer to work on the
National Financing Scheme but there's no consultation
with the public and NGOs. Evrything is shrouded in
secrecy and UNDP connives at this lack of
transparency.
