Greetings from the PHM Secretariat (Global)!

Please find below important instructions on the internal travel within Ecuador. For those who are landing in Guayquil and are a little travel friendly, it is stongly recommended to travel by land to Cuenca in order to enjoy the mountainous 4 hour ride by bus.

AVISO IMPORTANTE SOBRE VUELOS INTERNOS A CUENCA

VUELOS AEREOS

Viajeros a PHA2:

A llegar a Quito o Guayaquil, váyanse al kiosco   o counter de GRUPO GLOBAL. El kiosko esta ubicada en el lobby del área internacional de los aeropuertos.

Ellos tendrán   sus boletos aéreos correspondientes a su conexión a Cuenca y otra  información necesaria para su traslado.

Las personas que tienen que pasar la noche en Quito o Guayaquil por conexión a sus vuelos internacionales están avisadas que todo está arreglado si han contactado con IXATOURS. GRUPO GLOBAL tendrá la información sobre el hotel donde pasarán la noche.

Pasajeros en bus a Guayaquil a Cuenca.

Tome un taxi al Terminal de Buses.

La Compañía San Luís tiene buses cada 30 minutos.  El viaje dura 3 horas y 40 minutos.  Tome la ruta Cajas, que es un impresionante viaje por los Andes.

IMPORTANT ADVISE FOR ABOUT INTERNAL TRAVEL

Upon arrival in Quito o Guayaquil go to the counter or stand of GRUPO GLOBAL.  This counter is found in the outside lobby of the international ara of the airports.  They will have your onward tickets for your connection to Cuenca and other necessary information.

Persons who must stay overnight in Quito or Guayaquil due to your international connections are advised that everything has been arranged if you have contacted IXATOURS.  GRUPO GLOBAL will have information about the hotel where you will overnight.

PASSENGERS GOING FROM GUYAQUIL TO CUENCA BY LAND

Take a taxi to the Bus Terminal.

The San Luis Bus Company has regular buses every 30minutes.  The trip takes three hours and forty minutes.  Take the Cajas route as it is an impressive trip through the Andes.
