Release Italian & Iraqi Aid Workers & End the Occupation of Iraq! [en]
[en] Simona Pari and Simona Torretta, both Italians, and Ra'ad Ali Abdul
Azziz and Mahnoaz Bassam, both Iraqis, are members of Un Ponter Per Baghdad
(Bridges to Baghdad) an independent Italian humanitarian organization that
has been working in Iraq since 1992. When they were abducted last September
7, 2004 an international petition campaign was launched for their release
and against the occupation of Iraq.

The sad state of people's health in Al Nahrwan [en]
[en] Working conditions in Al Nahrwan brick factories, 30 kilometers from
Baghdad, are shocking and detrimental to people's health. To add insult to
injury, the workers in the factories have no access to health services
except for a small clinic.
