PHA-Exchange> IRAN DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE

Dear Dr. Barzgar,
We Kenya PHM members wish to share with you and all
Iranians at this time of sorrow & grief after that
devastating Earthquake measuring 6.7 on the ritcher
scale killed 30,000 citizens at BAM City. We have seen
very ugly scenes on our TVs about the quake but
unfortunately distance is a big barrier, otherwise we
could be with you physically.
  We have noted that your country has suffered quite
alot of such earthquakes:
1.in 1968 quake of 7.8 on ritcher scale killed 20,000
people.
2.in 1978 quake measuring 7.3 killed 20,000 people.
3.in 1990  quake measuring 7.8 ritcher acale killed
40,000 people.
  Such sufferings & losses of life in large numbers
are against our principles & ego to promoting Health
for ALL. However since we can do very little to stop
or control natural disasters, we have to live with
them. Hope to meet you at Mumbai.
