class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm;font-size:medium;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;text-align:justify">Why: Most LMICs rely on a limited number of global manufacturers, usually in the global north, to supply critical drugs, diagnostics, and other health tools. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the stark inequality of access to health products and manufacturing capacity, where the needs of LMICs for access to vaccines and diagnostics were severely neglected. Crucially, it animated the discussion and galvanized efforts towards regional/local production of drugs and diagnostics to prioritize meeting the local needs. For instance, following the passage of WHO resolution on strengthening local production to improve access in LMICs at the 74th World Health Assembly, Africa’s first mRNA hub was established.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Les objectifs sont les suivants

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">1.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">2.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">3.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">La session est divisée en 3 panels :

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">● Planter le décor : Facilitateurs et obstacles de la production locale.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">● Ce qu'il faut faire : les propositions des parties prenantes

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">● Perspectives et positions : les plans des acteurs et un appel à l'action.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Best,

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Jyotsna
