The 74th World Health Assembly (WHA) concluded last week. As always, we had a vibrant young team of WHO Watchers. <span>The Watching team consisted of Aletha Wallace (Belgium), Nalianya Emma (Kenya), Luciani Martins Ricardi (Brazil), Metheus Falcao (Brazil), Shriyuta Abhishek (India), Surbhi Shrivastava (India/USA), John Mahama (Ghana), Prithivi Prakash (India/Australia), Maarja-Liis Ferry (UK), Sarah Derdelinckx (Belgium), Sarai Keestra (Netherland) and Jasper Thys (Belgium).</span></font></div><div><span><font face="arial, sans-serif" color="#000000"><br></font></span></div><div><ul><li><font face="arial, sans-serif" color="#000000"><span>We read out 6 statements on the floor in collaboration with </span>Medicus Mundi<span> International (</span>MMI<span>). CSOs are allowed fewer statements now; clubbing of agenda items creates additional troubles. </font></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><font face="arial, sans-serif" color="#000000">The next session of WHA will be held in late November to exclusively discuss the Pandemic Treaty.</font></li></ul></div><div><font face="arial, sans-serif" color="#000000">2. We have uploaded on our website a Call for Endorsement for a letter in Solidarity with the People of Palestine. PHM ESA and EQUINET are organising <span style="text-align:center;box-sizing:border-box;border:0px;margin:0px;outline:0px;padding:0px">Regional People’s Health University (</span><span style="text-align:center;box-sizing:border-box;border:0px;margin:0px;outline:0px;padding:0px">East and Southern Africa) from </span><span>29 July to 12 November 2021.
