<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%">The Monthly Meeting of the People’s Health Movement –
Sri<span>  </span>Lanka (PHM – SL) was held at the
Nagarodaya Centre, Colombo 8 on 7^th January 2020.<span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%">PHM – SL celebrates 20 years this year and the meeting was
attended by Deputy General of Health Services – Public Health, with her senior
team to discuss the Open Government Partnership Commitments of the Health
Sector.<span>  </span>A very productive interactive
dialogues took place with the PHM – SL representative member organizations
numbering over 30 organizations.<span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%">Pioneer members of PHM – SL are now engaged as Advisors and
the second generation is taking up the leadership whilst the third generation
is under training.<span>  </span>It is noted that all
three groups<span>  </span>had a very fruitful
discussion in spearheading the future activities of PHM – SL.<span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%">The main areas of discussion were as follows:-<span></span></span></p>
