and Central Africa!</span>

Meeting on Maternal, Neonatal, Infant and Adolescent Reproductive Health
(SRMNIA) in West and Central Africa held in Cotonou (Benin) from 7 to 8 May
2019.</p>
<p class="m_-872972274453072874gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal"><span lang="EN-US">Strategies to set up a regional partnership
platform for alignment, acceleration and accountability were central to the
discussions. The aim is to establish a common global framework between the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Global Strategy for Women's,
Children's and Adolescents' Health (2016-2030), the </span><span style="background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial" lang="EN-US">Global Action Plan For Healthy Lives and
Well-Being For All</span><span lang="EN-US"> and the regional framework.</span></p>
<p class="m_-872972274453072874gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal"><span lang="EN-US">As a panelist at the meeting, PHM reminded
participants of the importance of building an equitable health system free from
the money powers. PHM projects, Charter, the PHA4 Declaration as well as PHM
West & Central Africa’s engagement were presented.</span><span lang="EN-US"> </span><span lang="EN-US"></span></p>
<p class="m_-872972274453072874gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal"><span lang="EN-US">Organized by the Government of Benin, in
partnership with four United Nations agencies (UNICEF, UNFPA, WHO and UNWOMEN)
and the Government of France, this meeting brought together for two days the
regional representatives of UN agencies, donors, civil society organizations and
West and Central African governments.</span></p>

a participé en tant que paneliste à la Rencontre régionale sur la santé
reproductive maternelle, néonatale, infantile et des adolescentes (SRMNIA) en
Afrique de l’Ouest et du Centre qui s’est tenu à Cotonou au Bénin du 7 au 8 mai 2019.</p>

régionale de partenariat pour l’alignement,
l’accélération et la redevabilité étaient au centre des discussions. L’objectif
étant </span><span style="color:rgb(35,31,32)">la mise en place d’un cad<span style="letter-spacing:-0.25pt">r</span>e global commun entre les Objectifs
de Développement Durables (ODD), la s</span>tratégie mondiale pour la santé de
la femme, de l'enfant et de l'adolescent (2016-2030) et le<span style="color:rgb(35,31,32)"> </span>Plan d’action mondial pour permettre à tous
de vivre en bonne santé et promouvoir le bien-être de tous <span style="color:rgb(35,31,32)">ainsi que leur alignement avec le cad<span style="letter-spacing:-0.2pt">r</span>e régional.</span></p>
<p class="m_-872972274453072874gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal"><font color="#231f20">En
tant que panéliste lors de la rencontre, PHM a rappelé aux participants l’importance
de la construction d’un système de santé équitable à l’abri des pouvoirs de l’argent
avec l’œil vigilant de PHM. Les projets globaux de PHM, ainsi que son
engagement aux niveaux régional et nationaux ont été passés en revue. </font></p>
<p class="m_-872972274453072874gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal"><span style="letter-spacing:0.25pt" lang="FR-CH">Organisée
par </span><span style="color:black;background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial">le Gouvernement béninois, en partenariat avec quatre agences des Nations
Unies (UNICEF, UNFPA, OMS et ONUFEMMES) et le Gouvernement français,</span><span style="letter-spacing:0.25pt"> <span lang="FR-CH">cette rencontre a rassemblé pendant
deux jours, les responsables régionaux des agences des Nations Unies, les
donateurs, les Organisations de la société civile et les gouvernements des pays
