of Human Rights, the World Health Organization's Director-General, Dr. Tedros
Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and the O'Neill Institute's Faculty Director, Lawrence
Gostin published an article in <i>the Lancet </i></font><font color="#000000">on the history and future of human rights and health.</font></font><br><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" color="#000000">

They, and a distinguished team of global health experts, show the progress the
world has made regarding health and human rights as well as warn that
"rising challenges are placing at risk hard-won gains for human rights in
global health."<br>
<br>
The article reviews the specific milestones made in the past 70 years; as well
as issues of discriminatory and punitive policies in place that deny human
rights to marginalized populations.</font></p><font face="Times New Roman" color="#000000">
