<font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">International Nestlé-Free Week is a time for people who boycott Nestlé over the way it pushes baby milk to do more to promote the boycott - and for those who don't boycott to give it a go.<span> </span></font><br>

<font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">By coincidence, Nestlé held its Creating Shared Value Global Forum in Colombia on 28 October, providing a great opportunity to raise concerns about its marketing of baby milk on the Twitter hashtag for the event: #CSVForum</font><br>

<font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">Tweets from campaign supporters appeared amongst the top Tweets. Pictures exposing Nestlé's aggressive marketing of breastmilk substitutes appeared amongst the top images.<span> </span></font><br>

<font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">Over 4,000 people have downloaded Baby Milk Action's new poster examining a selection of Nestlé labels from around the world, with examples from Afghanistan to Venezuela pictured.</font><br>

<font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">Nestlé says it "firmly believes that breastfeeding is the best way to feed a baby and is strongly committed to its protection and promotion" and claims to abide by the baby milk marketing requirements.</font><br>

<font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">Yet as people can see for themselves, it promotes its formula with claims such as it "protects" babies and provides a "natural start".</font><br>

<font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">What Nestlé says and what Nestlé does are different things.<span> </span></font><br>

This provides another opportunity to share the great cartoon from Joy of Tech. <font style="font:12.0px Helvetica" face="Helvetica" size="3">When the week is over, we need to keep up the pressure on Nestlé to abide by the World Health Assembly marketing requirements - that's all we ask: follow the rules adopted by the world's highest health policy setting body.</font><br>
