<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1f497d"> </span></p><span style="color:#1f497d;background:yellow">This year at NHA 2013, we will have the technical meeting and the plenary session on the result of the National Health Assembly’s Study in Thailand, Brazil and Uganda</span><span style="color:#1f497d">. The technical meeting will discuss on the fact findings , whereas the plenary session will scale up the research to the policy. I can assure you that the discussion on this issue will be worthwhile attending. South Africa was organized the NHA last year. You or your colleagues may be interested to attend our NHA.</span>

It is designed to increase participation of all stakeholders, especially civil society, in policy making in order to build <b><span style="color:#7030a0">Health in All Policies.</span></b></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><i><span lang="EN-GB"> </span></i></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"" lang="EN-GB">This model of policy making with an emphasis on inclusive participation has been increasingly known in the international level. Many global figures such as Prof. Amartya Sen, the Nobel Laureate in 1998, Dr. Nimal Siripala De Silva, the then chairman of WHO Executive Board, Sir Michael Marmot, the then chairman of WHO Commission of Social Determinants of Health, Dasho Karma Ura, President of the Centre for Bhutan studies, Dr Samlee Plianbangchang, Director of WHO SEARO were our keynote speakers. </span></p>
<p style="margin-left:0cm;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif""> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-GB">More than 200 constituencies or around 1000 people join NHA to develop and drive healthy public policies. A variety of policy proposals are to be discussed and get adopted by a consensus basis. Much more activities from communities, health networks and organizations will be organized for you to explore. </span></p>
