Dear PHM Comrades
Greetings from ARROW!

Sai and I just wanted to thank you for participating in ARROW's
Workshop "Strategizing for Universal Access to Sexual and
Reproductive Health". We were able to put together all your
suggestions/recommendations and share them at the Right to Health
Workshop (see attached document) on July 10th facilitated by Abhay
Shukla.

As a result of taking your ideas and ours to the right to health
workshop:

<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";font-weight:normal" lang="EN-US">1) It was agreed that SRHR is an
important aspect of the right to health and thus a thematic
campaign on
Sexual and Reproductive Rights as part of the Right to Health
Campaign needs to
be put together – ARROW will now draft a concept note to submit
to PHM on this
2) In addition there is no PHM
Circle on
SRHR or Women’s/ young peoples health and there is a need for
this to ensure
that PHM continues to have this lens in its analysis and
strategies. A number of
activists pledged their support to this idea and ARROW will now
draft a concept note for
a proposed global circle on
Women and Yong People's Health

An additional Outcome

We were also able to bring in the SRHR language
into the call to action with the support of other SRHR and women's
health advocates present as part of PHM at PHA3 (see
highlighted sections in attached document)

Do let us know if you would be interested in being part of the

a) global circle on Women and Young People's Health
b) thematic campaign on Sexual and Reproductive Rights as part of
the Right to Health Campaign

In addition as a resource we just received the Human Rights
Council Technical Guidelines on implementation of policies and
programmes to reduce preventable maternal morbidity and mortality.
These country level guidelines are an excellent contribution in case
you have not seen them yet.
Warm regards

YOU CAN ASK FOR THE ATTACHMENTS FROM US DIRECTLY SINCE PHM-EXCH DOES NOT POST ATTACHMENTS.
