get your involvement in our efforts to get as much publicity as possible for the
World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) campaign on the world-wide-web, as WBW will be
celebrating its 20<sup>th</sup> year this year! <u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="FONT-FAMILY:Arial"><u></u><u></u>People familiar
with internet use, and/or doing searches on the world-wide-web would know about
the globally famous internet/search and information provider company called
‘Google’. <span> </span>We are currently mobilizing as many people as
possible to send emails in to Google to ask for them to make a “Google-Doodle”
on World Breastfeeding Week!
<span> </span><span> </span><u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="FONT-FAMILY:Arial"><u></u><u></u>‘Google Doodles’,
as described by the company, <i>“are the fun, surprising and sometimes
spontaneous changes that are made to the <u>Google logo</u> to celebrate
holidays, anniversaries and the lives of famous artists, pioneers and
scientists… Over time, the demand for doodles has risen in the <u></u><u></u><u></u>US<u></u><u></u> and internationally. Creating
doodles is now the responsibility of a team of talented illlustrators (we call
them doodlers) and engineers. <span> </span>For them, creating doodles has
become a group effort to enliven the Google homepage and bring smiles to the
faces of Google users around the world”.<span>
</span><u></u><u></u></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="FONT-FAMILY:Arial"><u></u><u></u></span></i><span style="FONT-FAMILY:Arial">In the beginning, the doodles mostly celebrated
familiar holidays; but nowadays they highlight a wide array of <u>events and
anniversaries</u>.<span> </span>For examples of Google Doodles done in

this mini-campaign for a WBW Google Doodle on the WABA Group Facebook page (see:

that the doodle team is always excited to hear ideas from users and invite
people to send their proposals to their email - <span> </span><a href="mailto:proposals@google.com" target="_blank">proposals@google.com</a> <span> </span>-
with ideas for the next Google doodle.<span> </span><u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="FONT-FAMILY:Arial"><u></u><u></u>I really hope you
will join us in our efforts to lobby Google to make a WBW Doodle as this would
give the 20<sup>th</sup> World Breastfeeding Week global visibility on a massive
scale, and would help mobilize more people to join the campaign to Protect,
Promote and Support Breastfeeding, and WBW!<span>
