<p><span lang="en-gb"><font face="Arial">Three major global health events on the noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) epidemic are taking place at the World Trade Centre in Moscow during 27-29 April 2011. World Health Organization Director-General Dr Margaret Chan and representatives from more than 150 governments, including approximately 100 ministers of health, and leaders of civil society, business and other sectors will be attending the activities. </font></span></p>

Multiple plenary and thematic discussions on the drivers of and responses to the NCDs epidemic will be held. The 29 April closing will be marked by the issuing of a Declaration on NCDs.</font></span></li>
