The plan is rightly focused on women’s and children’s health to achieve health related MDGs in developing countries.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Since it will be a major fundraising initiative, and has the potential to galvanize/revitalize action, we wish to state some of our concerns, which could be addressed in the final document. </span></p>

In 2008, 8.8 million children born across the world died before their fifth birthday. More than one third of child deaths worldwide are attributed to malnutrition”.</span></p>
