Annual Forum of the Global Forum for Health Research to share their evidence,
enthusiasm and advocacy for the concerns of the Peoples charter for Health and
the Social determinants. This year is no exception<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>and its very likely that the PHM inputs
in Forum 10 at <st1:City><st1:place>Cairo</st1:place></st1:City> from
29<SUP>th</SUP> Oct<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>to
2<SUP>nd</SUP> November will be a good one.</FONT></FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">As of 15<SUP>th</SUP> Sept the following information is
already available on the events and initiatives.</FONT></FONT></P>

‘<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">The Social Vaccine – challenges and

style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">opportunities’</B> will take place on
30<SUP>th</SUP> October from 16.15 to 17.45 hrs. It will be Co-Chaired by Ravi
Narayan (Outgoing PHM global Coordinator) and Tessa Richards Assistant Editor
of BMJ. It will have Fran Baum – (WHO<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Commissioner on Social Determinants of Health, and PHM<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Australia); Arturo Quizhpe ( PHM-Latin
America)<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>and Hani Serag (
incoming global coordinator, PHM Egypt) as panelists and respondents
apart<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>from Huda Zurayk (Lebanon)
Vikram Patel ( India-LSHTM) and Betty Kwagala(Uganda) Dave McCoy ( GHW-! And
WHO advocacy circle convenor) will rapporteur the session. The charter is one
of the strongest<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>proponents
</FONT></FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>of Social policy action as
Social Vaccines. We hope many of you will attend this session, if you are

style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"> of </B><st1:PlaceName><B
style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Public
Health</B></st1:PlaceName></st1:place><B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">
with a focus on the Global South</B> facilitated by Ravi Narayan (PHM) also a
Global Forum Foundation Council member. There will be participation by
