injury epidemic that claims the lives of more than 1.2 million people and

and tuberculosis, and as with those diseases road crashes hit developing
countries hardest. Yet while the fight against malaria and TB justifiably
commands considerable funding and political and media attention, global road
safety is seriously under-resourced in all these
respects.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
