that Mathura Prasad Shrestha, a well known PHM activist in Nepal was arrested in
early January from his home. The PHM too issued a statement demanding his
immediate release. Three months on he still languishes in a prison cell in
the Maharajgunj Police Training Centre, by the orders of the 'king' Gyanendra.
While the agitation inside Nepal against the monarchy, the monarchy clearly
refuses to budge from its position, which it enjoys at the expense of the
country's economy, freedom, democratic values, and transparency. <BR><BR>This
