<P align=left>The overarching theme for the ISEQH’s Fourth</P>
<P align=left>International Conference —</FONT><I><FONT face=GillSansMT,Italic
size=2>Creating Healthy</P>
<P align=left>Societies through Inclusion and Equity</I></FONT><FONT
face=GillSansMT size=2>—reflects</P>
<P align=left>the central role of social, political, and</P>
<P align=left>economic determinants in creating health.</P>
<P align=left>We encourage you to submit your abstract for</P>
<P align=left>oral or poster presentation. This conference</P>
<P align=left>offers a unique opportunity for those with a</P>
<P align=left>common interest in equity and health. ISEqH is</P>
<P align=left>particularly keen to encourage researchers</P>
<P align=left>from the southern hemisphere to participate.</P>
<P align=left>A dynamic mix of papers and workshops will</P>
<P align=left>provide a stimulating forum for discussions and</P>
<P align=left>debates.</P>
<P align=left>There is special interest in contributions that</P>
<P align=left>extend beyond descriptions of inequity to</P>
<P align=left>pathways to achieving equity and assessment of</P>
<P align=left>the success of interventions to achieve it.</P>
<P align=left>In addition, the conference will focus on two</P>
<P align=left>new topics, to encourage the presentation and</P>
<P align=left>discussion of research and evaluation on the</P>

<P align=left>by the South Australian Government is being</P>
<P align=left>established to provide opportunities for local</P>
<P align=left>South Australian delegates with little</P>
<P align=left>experience in documenting or presenting their</P>
<P align=left>work. The scholarship includes mentoring</P>
<P align=left>through the South Australian Community</P>
<P align=left>Health Research Unit, and covers registration</P>
