I am reading this mail only now and I am in total shock. I have known Dieter since 1994, a long time, and a very fruitful and close friendship, also because Dieter had lived in Rome several years and had a special penchant for anything that was Italian, including people. He always felt Italian as well as German.

I simply cannot believe it. I just can't. We had discussed a lot about his move to the RLF. I am in deep grief. Thank you for sharing this terrible piece of news.

We mourn our colleague Dieter Müller [1959 - 2023], who died unexpectedly on August 12, 2023 in Mexico. Since two years, he has been working for the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation as the head of the Mexican office, where he also died. We are all very shocked and sad and struggle to believe it.

Quería informarles de una noticia muy triste, nuestro antiguo compañero Dieter Müller ha fallecido repentinamente el pasado fin de semana. Desde hace dos años trabajaba para la Fundación Rosa Luxemburg como jefe de oficina en México, donde también falleció. Todos estamos muy conmocionados y tristes y nos cuesta creerlo.
