A global coalition of organisations (including People's Health Movement
Ecosystems & Health Circle, Medact, Race & Health) have announced a
People’s Health Tribunal against Shell & Total in Africa. We would love for
members to be involved, to share widely using the comms pack in multiple
languages
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/12MPjFCiJKhLPwuacZBGS3aRXW8x1bAE1Pi2vL_xbWn8/edit?usp=sharing>
and to organise community watch parties. If anyone has any questions or
would like to speak more, please get in touch!
Extractive corporations like Shell and Total are hurting communities around
the world. Their enormous profits come at the expense of the health and
wellbeing of people living on the frontlines of extraction. In May this
year, whilst the companies and their funders are meeting in London, the
people most affected by their violence in Africa will share their
testimonies and take action.

Communities are fighting back - from the Niger Delta and South Africa to
Mozambique and East Africa, the people of Africa are putting Shell and
Total on trial. Movements across the globe are standing in solidarity
demanding that they are held accountable, and reparative justice is
delivered for communities affected.
You can share the People’s Health Tribunal launch video from twitter

We are also delighted to announce the opportunity to join or host *COMMUNITY
WATCH PARTIES* in your local area. This will allow people to watch the
testimonies together, share space, reflect and connect in global
solidarity. Sign up to join the Tribunal to find out more!
