A discussion on the widespread use of explosive weapons on civilian populations, focusing on a decade of harm, patterns, and predictions, particularly on Ukraine. Our speakers will discuss the hazards of poor storage methods for explosive material and the reverberating effects of major blast events in urban areas.

Speakers:
Dr Iain Overton is the Executive Director of Action on Armed Violence. 
Mr Jake Tacchi is an investigative journalist working with the BBC World Service. 
Moderator:
Dr Samar Al-Hajj is the director of the NIH-funded MENA Program on Advanced Injury Research (MENA-PAIR) at the American University of Beirut.
