Dear all,

Nice to meet you virtually!! I'm Delia Da Mosto, part of the Käthe Collective. I'm a doctor (and future medical anthropologist) based in Bologna. I got in contact with the PHM through the Centre for International and Intercultural Health which you may know (specifically through Chiara Bodini and Marianna Bettinzoli).

Thank you all for supporting the diffusion of Materia Viva and for all of the great feedback!!! I passed it on to the rest of the Collective which was thrilled!!

However if you had the time it would be really helpful if you could also tell us the negative/not best parts of the graphic novel (i.e. this passage isn't very clear / I would say this in a different way / it would be interesting to talk about this too etc.). Also if anyone has any GRAPHIC/TECH/DIGITAL SKILLS they are more than welcome!! Right now we are trying to create a font so that translations in other languages aren't so time consuming. Finally if you had any ideas on how the comic could be shared feel free to let us know!! We would love to build up new connections and collaborations.

P.S. Now the English version is available on the "official website" of Käthe Collective<https://collettivakathe.wixsite.com/home> and we are working on the translation in Spanish and French.

Today, 7th of April, World Health Day, and day against the privatization and commercialization of healthcare, health and social protection, we would like to share with you Materia Viva, a comic which was completely self-produced by the Käthe Collective during the pandemic in order to narrate our idea of the right to health. We decided to produce a comic on this topic to respond to a common need for many of us: find different and more accessible ways and tools to talk and discuss about health. This is why we want to share with you Materia Viva. We hope it will be useful to all of the people who try to build different practices to produce health every day across Europe (and all over the world)!
