PHM-Exch> Why is PHM opposing the UN Food Systems Summit

Dear friends,

The United Nations Food Systems Summit is to be held tomorrow (23
September, 2021). PHM, along with hundreds of Civil Society organisations,
is opposing the UNFSS 2021 for obvious reasons. In this video, PHM
activists and friends from different regions explain why they oppose the
UNFSS. They talk of the repercussions and consequences of the Food Summit
on health and connect it to the larger politics of corporatisation and
monopolisation of food by transnational corporations. The sidelining of
Civil Society voices by the UN is also a major issue of concern.
