We have received 473 signatures for Shatha's petition so far. We need to
give one last push to collect as many signatures as possible. Towards the

Shatha Odeh, Global Steering Council member of the People's Health
Movement, was arrested by the Israeli Occupying Forces on 7 July. Shatha is
a long time health and human rights defender and Director of Health Work
Committees of Palestine which provide health services to over 400,000
Palestinians throughout the West Bank. Her illegal arrest jeopardizes
health of many during the Covid-19 pandemic. PHM is asking the World Health
Organisation to intervene in the matter. Many leading organisations and
individuals have already signed-on the petition. On behalf of PHM, we
request you also to endorse the petition to WHO Director-General by Sunday
