Dear PHM friends and activists,

Following several dialogues with the WHO DG, Dr. Tedros, a small civil
society group has convened a meeting next week, to act on Dr. Tedros'
willingness to formalize a WHO-Civil Society forum. The options and
modalities of such a forum are being discussed at an online meeting on
Tuesday, 27 Oct., 12 noon UTC.

Dear G2H2 colleagues,

We invite you to this “civil society only” follow-up meeting to the
dialogue session with WHO DG Dr Tedros, conducted on 13 October on “Social
participation and accountability within and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The meeting on 27 October will again be held  on the Zoom conference
platform, but with a minimum of formal input (see the outline document) and
encouraging active engagement by all who attend the meeting, allowing
brainstorming and strategizing in a broader team.

Please join us:

·        if you want to share any general insights or comments after the
dialogue meeting with Dr Tedros and members of the WHO leadership team on
13 October;

·        if you are interested and available to actively contribute to the
follow-up of the dialogue meeting, in particular on the agreed action
points and perspectives at a national and global (WHO) level;

·        if you are interested to engage in a dialogue on good governance
and management of civil society platforms, mechanisms and processes.
