invite faculty,
practitioners, and other professionals who wish to build critical
consciousness and develop teaching and learning skills to join a four-hour
virtual event on October 15, 2020.

Faculty Development Day will occur on the first day of our Global Social
Medicine Summit

Held virtually this year, October 15-18, 2020, this year's theme is
"Building Community, Critical Consciousness, and a Movement for Health
Equity."

We seek applicants who have attended a Social Medicine
Consortium/EqualHealth-sponsored social medicine course in Haiti, Uganda,
and/or Minnesota, as well as participants with teaching skills—from novices
to experienced educators.

Organizers will also grant preference to applicants from the Global South
or from low- and middle-income countries; internet data stipends may be
available to those who are selected.

Equally on the same site, register for participation in the consciousness
class for the virtual 3 days of solidarity.

With global health love,
