PHM-Exch> Inviting Applications for Online Course 'The Struggle for Health and Access to Affordable Medicines'

Dear Friends

Applications are now open for the online course "The Struggle for Health
and Access to Affordable Medicines 2020*"**, *an IPHU short course for
young health activists mainly from Middle East and North Africa starting
October 30th. The online course with 2 contact sessions every week is
spread over a period of 6 weeks.

The course to be held online will commence with a broad overview of the
context of access to medicines in particular the political economy of
health, structure of the pharmaceutical industry, medicines related policy
and regulation and then deal specifically with matters of intellectual
property and access to medicines.

THE STRUGGLE FOR HEALTH AND ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE MEDICINES is presented by
the International People’s Health University (IPHU) of the People’s Health
Movement (PHM) - jointly with Third World Network

Deadline for receiving applications: 10 October.
Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application by 18th
October.
