As you might now, the WHO has declared 2020 the year of the nurse and 12
May has traditionally been international nurses day. Considering the
current context in which nurses and other health workers are at the
frontline of the response to the epidemic and how this has shown the
importance of strengthening public health systems, PSI has prepared a
statement that is out for endorsement by unions and key allies asking
for *universal
public health once and for all* - this will be released on 12 May.
