Here is the link of the opening and closing speech of the Second Gathering
of Women who Struggle that just happened (26-29 December) in Chiapas,
Mexico, organised by the Zapatista women in the autonomous Zapatista
territory.

There were ~4000 activist women from 50 countries who met and discuss for 3
days all forms of gender based violence (from domestic violence, femicide,
to land dispossession, indigenous women rights, etc) and proposing
solutions on how to end this (still) growing problem worldwide.
It has been a very moving event, filled with sadness but also lots of hope.
