PHM-Exch> [PHM NEWS] PHM extractive industries meets with UN Special Rapporteur Eng/Esp

Alames Núcleo Ecuador and PHM extractive ind. circle / Ecuador met with
Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health (Dainius Puras) to deliver
comments related to multiple human rights violations in Ecuador. Three
Amicus Curiae were presented- one of them from PHM Canada- portraying the
health effects resulting from large-scale mining. A collective work that is
woven between thematic circles - countries and of which we are proud.

Thankful to the great work (solidarity in action) done by Ben Brisbois, Nikisha
Kahre, Lesley Johnson, Baijayanta Mukhopadhyay, Anne-Emmanuele Birn and to
PHM Canada at large.

Como ALAMES Ecuador y como Movimiento Salud de los Pueblos (PHM
extractivas), presentamos al Relator Especial sobre el Derecho a la Salud
(Dainius Puras) varias observaciones relacionadas a las múltiples
violaciones de DDHH en Ecuador . Se entregaron tres Amicus Curiae
elaborados por varios colectivos en salud (uno de ellos de PHM Canada) que
detallan las afectaciones a la salud resultado de la minería a gran escala.
Un trabajo colectivo que se teje entre círculos temáticos- países y del que
estamos orgullosas.
