The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is pleased to
share with you the* OHCHR’s Guidance Note on a Human Rights-Based Approach
to Data (HRBAD) *to leave no-one in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda
for Sustainable Development.

The document is also available in all UN official languages online:
www.ohchr.org/HRBAD.

The note builds on international human rights norms and principles
pertaining to data. It provides concise, practical guidance to help make
visible, groups traditionally left behind and excluded from official
statistics, while protecting their rights in the process. It seeks to
support the development of new partnerships and enhance collaboration among
a variety of data stakeholders, including national human rights
institutions, national statistical offices and civil society organisations.

You will also find the *OHCHR human rights indicators guide* in English
available in all UN official languages online: www.ohchr.org/HRBAD
