The 72nd World Health Assembly commences on Monday 20 May. The provisional
agenda is at A72/1
<http://apps.who.int/gb/ebwha/pdf_files/WHA72/A72_1-en.pdf>. See also the
official documents page <http://apps.who.int/gb/e/e_wha72.html>. Many of
the official documents were very late in being published; in fact several
documents have not yet been posted.

The People’s Health Movement (PHM)’s commentary on the items coming before
the Assembly, plus links to relevant documents, can be accessed at
www.who-track.phmovement.org/wha72. The WHO Tracker also has a useful *Items
Search* function and a *Resolutions Search* function.

An integrated PDF version of the PHM commentary for WHA72 can be downloaded
here:
https://www.ghwatch.org/sites/default/files/WHA72_PHMCommentary_0517.pdf.

The WHO Watch team is attending WHA72 and will be broadcasting their notes
of discussion during the meeting. Under the aegis of MMI
<http://www.medicusmundi.org/> the watchers will be reading statements
which will be posted on WHO’s NSA site
<https://extranet.who.int/nonstateactorsstatements/> and also at:
https://www.ghwatch.org/wha72. The team will also be circulating policy
briefs on particular items which will also be posted this site
<https://www.ghwatch.org/wha72>.

WHO Watch is part of a broader project directed to the democratisation of
global health governance <https://www.ghwatch.org/who-watch/about> which
aims to contribute to population health and health equity through new
alliances and information flows.
