PHM-Exch> Launch of PHM - Mauritius

Dear friends,

On 9 February 2019, a local chapter of the People's Health Movement was
launched in Mauritius.  We have built up some interest locally on social
media, mainly Facebook and plan to organise meetings at the grassroots in
coming months.

We have also had some interest in the press.

One of the  major health problems in Mauritius is Diabetes and we plan to
campaign on developing primary care initiatives, mainly in prevention, with
community involvement.
