*a*Scientific and Citizen Forum on Genetic Effects of Ionizing
Radiation

*As many of you know, because PHM is a founding association of IW, our
group has held a Hippocratic Vigil in front of WHO headquarters for nearly
7 years now, every working day, demanding the independence of the WHO from
the nuclear lobby/establishment, and in particular from its mouthpiece, the
IAEA. The Vigil is the symbolic and permanent part of our action, which
also includes work with UN Human Rights bodies, Member States of WHO, media
work, and citizen action in favour of serious, independent science.

IW is currently preparing a programme and starting the search for suitable
presenters/participants.  Anyone in PHM network who has suggestions for
geneticists working in the area of genetic effects of ionizing radiation
(low level, chronic, internal, in particular) please let us know, and if
