Greeting from Social Action for Change Cambodia!

Cambodian Grassroots People's Assembly (CGPA) was initiated by the
cross-sector network which consisted of more than ten different networks
and communities group in Cambodia. The cross-sector network included the
sex workers association, garment workers association, land right
communities, forestry communities, informal economic workers association,
farmers networks, youth ...etc. For more information of who are the
cross-sector members and core groups, you can contact with me.

CGPA is the ongoing action aimed at following up the people's demand which
were submitted to the Cambodian National Assembly in 2012 before the ASEAN
submit and as many people know the ASEAN Grassroots People's Assembly
(AGPA). The CGPA was organised in three different regions of the country.
The first region was organised in the Northwest region where it was
organised in Kampang Chhnag province as the central province, the second
one was organised in Southwest region and Prehsihanuk province was decided
the central province to organised the CGPA and the last one was Northeast
which was strategically based in Siem Reap province.

Some of the CGPA activities are available from me. You can find photos and
the statement in the CGPA face book page at
https://www.facebook.com/CambodiaGrassrootsPeopleAssembly .

As mentioned in the concept note, CGPA was the on going action of the ASEAN
