My new blog article for The Broker’s “inclusive economy” debate outlines the basis for an alternative model of economic development, based on creating a virtuous circle of increased supply and demand in poor communities, while harnessing the potential of decentralised renewable energy systems as a driver of rural development and diversification.

You can find the blog at http://www.thebrokeronline.eu/Blogs/Spurring-economic-transition/From-trickle-down-to-bubble-up.

A second blog will follow next week, discussing the changes needed at the global level to facilitate and support such a model.
