Dear Friends at PHMThis is to invite you to an ONLINE screening of our independent film THE WATERFALL (https://www.facebook.com/thewaterfall1), a documentary on Palestine-Israel conflict that explores it through dimensions of health,  people’s perspectives, angst and hopes. An important part of this film was shot in Ecuador during PHA-II and brings in an eye opening perspective on health of the people in a conflict.  Do watch and share the info with others. When: 11pm (IST) 26th Apr (Fri) till  midnight 27th Apr (Sat) Where: www.hillele.orgOfficial trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igG6XGGrQx8
Around The WATERFALL
It took us about 2 years to complete the film, thanks to the support of many friends and like minded people.  The film was done on a meager budget but with loads of moral support and help from many people that saw us through.Since it’s completion, it has been screened at a number of venues in different cities.  Every screening generated interesting discussions about the way people get trapped in wars and conflicts, even when they do not wish to be on any side. The film was born when Gaza was being bombed in December 2009.  While it attempts to explore the Palestine-Israel conflict and its impact on people on both sides of the border, it was primarily shot in Hampi (South India) and Ecuador ( South America ).  A film supported by people must be about people and that is precisely what it is.We invite you to watch, critique and spread the information to others.  Independent films can not reach people unless you help us reach out.  So, help us share
it with others…  it  will merely take a few clicks of your mouse to forward it or share it on social networks.About the director:
Parvez Imam, a doctor by education,  is an award winning film maker of many independent films.  His films have been screened  and appreciated at numerous prestigious film festivals across the world.  He continues to experiment with genres and style of story telling. His films include the  much acclaimed Flight 208, Kinara, Exploring Madness and Random Voices from Kashmir . His latest venture, When People Speak is a work in progress, that turns the idea of film making on its head by blurring the line between the audience and the creators of the story.
