PHM-Exch> Beyond Taboos in CBR - report on violence and abuse towards persons with disabilities

In November 2012, during the Global congress on Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) held in Agra (India), an international workshop was held on "Going beyond the taboos in CBR". Part of this workshop focused on "violence and abuse, including sexual abuse, towards persons with disabilities". Around 90 persons including persons with disabilities, DPO representatives, family members, professionals and CBR workers from 23 countries, took part in this workshop.
