Between October 2012 and January 2013, a global consultation has taken
place on the role of health in post-2015 development agenda, both on line
and through face to face consultations. This consultation on health is
co-convened by WHO and UNICEF, in collaboration with the Government of
Botswana and the Government of Sweden.****

The first draft of the report of the consultation on health in the
post-2015 development agenda is now open for public comment. It is a
technical report that summarizes the main themes and messages that have
emerged thus far.

The final report will include an annex which will consist of digests of the
papers  and other inputs received. In the meantime, digests of papers can
be viewed online. A full description of the consultation process is
provided in Chapter 2 of the report.****

A revised version of this report will be considered at the High Level
Dialogue on health in the post-2015 agenda, and a final report will be
presented to the High Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015
Development Agenda in March 2013. Beyond this, the report will also serve
as an input into the discussions on post-2015 development agenda and the
sustainable development goals that will take place during 2013 and 2014.****
