83% of Egyptian women report to have experienced sexual harassment at least
once in their life. These findings come from a study published in 2008 by
the Egyptian Center for Women's Rights. Verbal harassment, touching in
public transport, rape... Life in Cairo and in the rest of the country has
become a real hell for women.
While the government seems to be unable to deal with the problem of sexual
harassment, some citizens have decided to act...
