I would be curious to hear how people on this list-serve feel about this announcement.  The fact that the promotion of universal healthcare is now in the hands of David Cameron is concerning.  Haven't they been slowly dismantling the NHS in England?  Is this happy (triumphalist?) talk is just a cover for another attempt to privatize healthcare? But perhaps this real progress.
