Proposals for Water-Sanitation-Waste Management-Injection Safety from LMIC
countries.
Announcement. *Yves Chartier Prize*
With support from the French MoH, the French branch of the PHM organized
the United Nations Palais memorial for Yves Chartier on May 22, during the
World Health Assembly, to bring forth testimonies of all those who worked
and collaborated with Yves Chartier in some parts of the world.
The idea of a 'Prize Yves Chartier" for an outstanding developing country
project, or outstanding innovator on the five main topics related to Yves'
work is taking root: *Water - Hygiene - Sanitation - Waste Management -
Injection Safety, *as an appropriate ecological response to the main
challenges of today for people's health, is taking shape.
Write to us if interested in participating for the original framework
drafting.
For a survey of the importance of Yves Chartier's work, and the importance
of 'WASH in HIV Programs, for example, one of Chartier's initiatives,
