* Notice: Revitalizing Health for All: International Experiences in
(Comprehensive) Primary Health Care.*

DATE: Sunday, 8th July 2012

TIME: 5 – 7 pm

VENUE: School of Public Health, UWC.

Recognizing the need for increasing the evidence base for comprehensive
PHC, the international ‘Revitalizing Health for All: Learning from
Comprehensive Primary Health Care Experiences’ initiative has facilitated
18 research studies across 15 countries in Africa, South Asia, Latin
America and within Indigenous/First Nation communities, and combined this
with a unique capacity building programme. The People’s Health Movement was
one of the key institutional partners responsible for facilitated this
initiative between 2007 – 2012.

This self-organised workshop will first provide an overview of the
rationale behind and objectives of the Project, followed by a series of
presentations by some of the participating research studies, and end with a
Q & A session. The workshop will be facilitated by the project
co-principals, David Sanders and Ron Labonte.

We would welcome your participation in this event.
